We’re hiring immediately! Do you enjoy staying organized, coordinating moving parts, and helping ensure customers get what they need—when they need it? If you’re detail oriented, comfortable multitasking, and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly, join the Avis Budget Group team as a Rental Fleet Dispatcher.

This role is a great fit for candidates with experience in logistics, dispatching, retail operations, or other fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Do:

As a Rental Fleet Dispatcher, you will coordinate the movement and availability of our rental vehicle fleet to meet customer demand. Depending on the location, your responsibilities may include inventorying vehicles, tracking the status and movement of cars, and dispatching vehicles to the appropriate locations.

You will communicate with internal teams and, at times, external partners to coordinate vehicle movements or transports, prepare and compile reports, and help ensure vehicles are available, positioned correctly, and ready for customers. Your work plays a key role in supporting a smooth customer experience.

Perks You’ll Get:

Bi-weekly hourly wage (New York and Puerto Rico: weekly wage).
On-the-job training.
Paid time off.
Medical, dental and other insurance.
Flexible spending account opportunity to contribute up to $270 as a tax-free benefit for public transportation or parking expenses.
Retirement benefits (401k).
Employee discounts, including discounted car rental and discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars.

Above perks may vary based on full-time/part-time status and location.

What We’re Looking For:

Valid Driver’s License.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word).
Willingness to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with a moderate noise level.
Flexibility to work all shifts.
Must be able to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods; and drive a variety of vehicles.
Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
6 months dispatcher, logistics, or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus.

Who We Are:

Here at Avis Budget Group, you will be joining a team of 25,000 driven people, performing with purpose. Together, we’re moving the future of transportation forward with our innovative, customer-focused solutions.
